september update

hihihi! just a bit of a thrifty update and general life really.. been sourcing a few more items to show the world! Sorry the pictures are a bit crap, they are taken on my phone!

Some more pyrex and tupperware! plus a cute little satchel bag and a brand new passionfruit body butter from the body shop, nom!

This throw is really gorgeous! the picture doesn't do it justice to be honest.. I will try take a better one with an actual camera, it's so seventies and in such good condition I couldn't leave it behind :)

Some more arcoroc and pyrex cups...

I made this cake for one of the CK girlies leaving meal! I whipped the cream myself with my mums old hand whisk.. (oh and a cheeky cinnamon monin for my coffee)

I also had my haircut! woop :)

Pyrex and Wool Week

Also I don't know if you know but I've kind of fallen into a collection... Pyrex.. From using pinterest I was always drawn to the fantastic pictures of them and as you probably know I am a self confessed car boot and charity shop addict and thus the collection just kind of began.. here are a few pictures I have taken over the last few months of things I've bought...

also a big happy WOOL WEEK!!! started yesterday wool week is until sunday 11th september :) so get knitting!

Cath Kidston Vintage at Southbank

Hello everyone! Wow it's been a fair while since i've posted but I think now autumn is starting to hit which I am most excited about.. I love coats, boots and woolly jumpers.. it's about time I started posting a bit more.. I think I am going to delete my tumblr as I don't really use it and prefer this as a medium for blogging as well as updating my Pinterest on a regular basis of pictures I love.. I feel like sometimes I have so many different social media things that I forget about them which isn't good! Anyways here is a beautiful video for Cath Kidston at the Vintage at Southbank festival! Ps. I graduated uni at last this July and I'm currently working as a full time employee for Cath Kidston ! xoxClicky click

Degree Show, Ebay and Folksy!

Hello everyone!

I haven't logged on in a little while as I've been wrapping up my third and final year of degree! I'm pleased to say I have now handed in all my work but I'm still living in Leicester until the end of June as I have a degree show coming up. If any of you are in Leicester around 18th June until 23rd June then come to see the show! It's basically everyone from the Art and Design faculty at my university showcasing there hard work from the past year, we literally have every course here so there is a wide range of things to see. Check out the page here HERE

Also I have a few things for sale on ebay at the moment... check them out too

FINALLY.. I've managed to put a couple of bags on my Folksy for sale. There made from vintage fabric as I am a bit of a collector, hopefully some more things to come on there though like patchwork cushions? I do love a bit of patchwork...
Check that out HERE

Actually what things would you like to see on Folksy??

I am now going to attempt to look at everyone elses blog to see what they've been up to!

Much love xox

Royal Wedding !!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching it all on the television. In parts I actually got a bit emotional, maybe because I am really so proud to be British, my anglophile self shining through. It's times like this when everybody comes together to celebrate such a joyous occasion and even though I didn't do anything spectacularly exciting I am having a lovely day!

The Royal Kiss! Twice!

We had a teaparty!

Mother and I wore matching dresses!

Hope your all having a fantastic day!

Outfit post

I decided to do an outfit post today!

I hope everyone is enjoying the build up to the royal wedding! I am meeting my friend for cream teas tomorrow at our favourite riverside tea rooms and stringing up some union jack bunting outside the front of my house! Then on friday mother and I will be wearing co-ordinating tea dresses, photo to follow and noshing down to some tea and cake once again!

What are your plans for the big RW?

Much love

Easter Car Boots

Home for the holidays means car boot sales! The weather has been spectacular recently so the car boot sales have been reeeally good! I have got a few bits, I am yearning so bad for a house of my own so I can buy homeware and furniture like no mans business but alas living with my parents inbetween uni means this has to be put on hold. Only a couple more months until I graduate! Then it's reality..

my gorgeous new fan!

A small selection of fabric.

I also found an unopened 20 piece dinner set of this floral Arcopal pattern. It includes 4 dinner plates, 4 side plates, 4 bowls and 4 cups and saucers. The story behind it was that the lady had had two sets for a wedding present over 30 years ago and only used one set so I snapped up the chance to buy it. I love vintage pyrex/Arcopal/Opalware :)

That's it for now folks, I hope there are some more bargains to be had tomorrow!

Cath Kidston Charity Project

I have just this very minute ordered two tee's from Uniqlo. The collaboration between them and Cath Kidston on a t-shirt project to raise money for the Japanese is a wonderful idea so I bought one for myself and one for my mum as a mothers day present, perfection!
